New Business Project Manager (AVP)
IFDS is seeking to hire an experienced New Business Project Manager due to a significant business growth pipeline. We offer continuous investment in our product offering and technology infrastructure and are a market leader in Transfer Agency services.

  • Assess/evaluate client requirements against scope of project, manage project plan and schedule.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of new client implementation project(NB)
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of different types of project end to end (CM)
  • Ability to command, lead, influence a group of individuals in a room quickly and be assertive in a public environment.
  • Strong internal communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization (development, sales, operations and Technology).
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment in a team and individually.
  • Strong focus detail and governance
  • Troubleshooting is another required skill; responsibility for detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations.
  • Ensuring delivery according to project timelines in order to ensure revenue recognition according to forecast.
  • Responsible for documenting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) instructions for all ongoing business and transitioning the new business until live date
  • Be able to lead “Current State and Future state” assessments around functionality and/or processes. This will include white boarding, utilizing MS Visio and determining business improvement areas.
  • Presentation Skills: Provide on-line meetings and conference calls to orientate a new client, present new functionality, perform training, and collaborate with clients about concerns.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with Solution Architects and/or Engagement Managers to ensure appropriate follow-up of identifying client needs and follow-up activities.
  • Project Management: Responsible for providing Engagement Managers and/or clients with updated implementation plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, benchmark metrics, communications documents, follow-up memo’s, etc
  • Ensure all required documentation (process flows, Operating Memorandum, checklist, etc…) are in place pre live date
  • Be in charge of the execution and finalization of assigned migration
  • Communicate effectively on technical and non-technical issues with all internal and external interfaces
  • Prepare valuable presentations and reports throughout the different streams achieved
  • Proven track record in managing projects, new business onboarding and team management
  • Transfer Agency experience is a strong advantage
  • Excellent leadership skills and a hands on approach to service delivery
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial services industry with a strong background in management
  • Fluency in English is essential
