The department is responsible for the daily monitoring and the proper functioning of the internal and external systems and network infrastructure.

In order to support our team, we are looking for a Database Administrator for a temporary contract until 28-Feb-19.

Your main tasks will be to:

• Configure and maintain our Database infrastructure on a daily basis
• Maintain the Database environments respecting high quality, security and performance standards
• Identify and manage incidents, changes and deployments from Dev to Production environment
• Ensure 2^nd and 3^rd level of support to IT colleagues for database related issue
• Perform activities linked to monitoring, availability testing and reporting
• Establish & Maintain documentation/procedures for Database Administration activity
• Assist development and project management teams for any database related topics
• Participate into the on-call program

Job requirements:

• Min BAC+2 in Information Technology or equivalent
• 2 to 3-year experience as Database Administrator
• Very good knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle Database Server
• Knowledge of DB2, Windows Server & Unix environments would be considered as an asset
• Fluent in English
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and verbally, in a multi-cultural environment
• Effective reasoning and problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and to show flexibility when required
• Team spirit and enthusiasm
• Service-oriented mind-set
