Vallair is a Franco-Luxembourgish aviation group engaged in aviation asset value adding management business.  The company was created in 2003, with its Head Offices in Luxembourg and operational centres in Montpelier, Chateauroux, Toulouse, Dothan USA, Jinan China and new centres to be announced later this year.

Vallair is seeking a Bought Ledger part qualified accountant to join our team in order to further develop and grow our expanding business.  We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with a high degree of ethical standards who are willing to learn or contribute to our operations.  The successful applicant must be well organised and have good interpersonal skills, good communication ability and a willingness to adapt to the ever changing aviation industry.

This is a very operational, hands-on role with the following accountabilities:

  • Record Supplier statements
  • Record purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of invoices to Purchase Orders / Repair Orders
  • Daily vendor payments [Assist in the daily Cash Flow Management and respective Reporting]
  • Weekly vendor payments
  • Monitoring & recording contracts
  • Monthly (or weekly) review of supplier accounts
  • Out of company Reconciliations – Handling of Vendor statements
  • Assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Purchasing & Cost Control Director


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Degree in accounting, controlling, or related field
  • Fluent in English and French would be a help
  • Extensive experience with Excel is a must
