Our office will be strong in investment funds, real estate, private equity, banking and finance, mainstream corporate, M&A, commercial and cross-border tax planning. Our lawyers will also work closely with our EU investigations and risk advisory teams. In addition to growing links with China and other Asian jurisdictions, Luxembourg has strong historical link to neighbouring Germany and France, with well-established connections to Canada, the US, Asia, MENA region, Russia and all other major European countries.
The Norton Rose Fulbright Luxembourg office consists of a small, enthusiastic team that work closely with their international colleagues, and, being a new venture, offers employees the opportunity to play an integral part in establishing the office and presence within the Luxembourg market.
With continued expansion expected, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate/Of Counsel to work within our Funds Practice in Luxembourg.
The successful candidate will:

Skills and Experience Required
You will have significant experience mainly of the structuring, launch, placement and operation of closed-ended investment companies/funds as well as private companies/funds – negotiation of such structures will be considered as an additional asset.
You may also have additional experience of the structuring, launch, placement and operation of retail/UCITS funds, as well as experience of the structuring, launch and operation of AIFM and other management or service companies in the funds sector.
Any candidate must have all the requisite skills for this position – not only very good all round technical skills but also the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Equally, they will be expected to be able to assist in marketing and other initiatives as we seek to build the office.
